Sunnyspot uses your device's location services to provide accurate sun position calculations and shadow mapping. This location data includes:

Camera and TrueDepth Data

Sunnyspot's "Snap n' share" feature uses the device camera, including Apple's TrueDepth camera and ARKit face tracking, to place a virtual sunglasses overlay on your face in real time. This involves the following:

• Data collected: The app processes face position and orientation data (ARFaceAnchor) provided by Apple's ARKit framework. No face mesh geometry, blend shape coefficients, or other biometric identifiers are read or recorded.
• Purpose: Face tracking data is used solely to position a 3D sunglasses effect on your face within the camera view. It serves no other purpose.
• Storage: Face tracking data is processed entirely on-device in real time. It is never saved to disk, uploaded to any server, or retained after you leave the camera view.
• Sharing: Face tracking data is not shared with any third party. Photos you capture are stored locally on your device and are shared only when you explicitly choose to do so.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with our app, including:

• App features used
• Time spent using the app
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• Crash reports and error logs
